About Us

Petersen-Arne started in 1940 as the "Eugene Notions Company" selling general dry goods, including suspenders and wool socks for loggers. The company was purchased by Herman Petersen and Glen Arne in 1959, originating the current name.

In 1998, current owner operators Craig Curtis and Cynthia Morris purchased the company, breathing into Petersen-Arne new enthusiasm, dedication, and fresh perspective to grow the company towards a new generation of distribution. Product offerings have dramatically increased, facilitating the move to a purpose-build facility in 2006.

Petersen-Arne carries a broad range of creative arts products with over 60,000 skus in our pick and pack warehouse in Eugene, Oregon. We are centrally located on the I-5 corridor with the benefit of a remarkably efficient warehouse. We ship orders quickly throughout the West Coast, the United States and even internationally with one of the highest fill rate standards in the creative arts industry.
